Is my praise loud enough
To reach Heaven?
Is it too simple for God's ears?
Is it as frequently on its way
As are my wants and tears?
Are my songs sweet enough
To be heard by that Heavenly choir
As I try to express my love
Up to the clouds and higher?
Is my devotion strong enough
To keep me standing straight and tall
When there are those all around me
Who would love to see me fall?
Does my every acclamation
Exalt and glorify The One
Who down from Heaven came
Sent to earth to save us
For I want to exalt His Holy Name.
