Introduction

My name is Don Terry and I was born in San Jose, California. I spent many summers of my childhood at my grandparent’s ranch in Checotah, Oklahoma. In addition, I have served as a worship leader for his youth group and at Bible School.

I also led worship for bible studies in South California and Washington, retreats in Pennsylvania and Tennessee and at a church in Rochester, New York.

I graduated from Calvary Chapel Bible School and Western Kentucky University, with a double major in Religious Studies and Communications. My previous work includes Spiritual Director and speaker of Nashville Chrysalis, as well as assistant Spiritual Director and speaker for Nashville Emmaus.

I've also served in churches as a pastor, associate pastor, worship leader, sound engineer, media director, and Sunday School teacher. In addition, I've served as a short-term missionary to Brazil and India. Currently, I work as a purchasing agent for a correctional managed health care company in Brentwood, TN and live in a small town called White House , TN with his wife and two boys. I now sings as part of a praise team, teach Bible studies at The Northridge Church in and blog, ISing4God.com, five days a week. It is my goal to publish my first book, Living in God's Peace, in January 2013.

I am here to learn more about writing, to practice the craft and connect with other writers.
