“ Rejoice for Jesus “

For a time before Easter
We reflect and prepare for Lent
With some sadness in song and prayer
We humbly repent

Alleluiahs are silenced for a time
And we feel sorrow
Not much joy

But as Easter approaches
The anticipation of new life
Gone is the sadness and pain
Struggle and strife

Awaken us
Alleluias heard galore
In praise and music
We worship true
Embrace it
Let us Rejoice for Jesus…
