Words

A plethora of sound to invade one's space
Actions not seeming to be enough anymore
Too much accentuation with over insinuation
Words
Too many times one-sided, never equal
Me and mine, never us or thine
Regulated authority of one
The self-indulgence of self-centeredness
Twisted and shaped
Molded to the furtherance of my ideas
My goals
Me
What circumstance(s) got me here?
When did I stop caring?
How did this cancer invade my soul
My spirit
My essence
Words
But no communication
No exchange of thoughts, views, experiences
Life
The Apostile Paul wrote
If I speak like the angels, but no one understands
It's but a waste of time (paraphrased)
So I speak rarely
In order that I may communicate clearly
And effectively
With those whose paths I am blessed to cross
I pray to learn, as well as teach
To be helped as I help
To love as He loves me
That my words are an expression and extension
Of heaven

When you are chosen and you willingly accept, likes and dislikes are out the window, preferences, etc. Though our necks may stiffen a bit as is in our nature as human beings, as followers of Christ The Last Word is always HIS! I did not want to write...ever again...now...i cannot stop. Yet...when He is again quiet and no inspiration comes, for a while it's a relief...till the thought of losing the connection fills me with terror, then when i least expect it: "Oh Ye' of Little Faith, take Heart...take Heart...For I am with You always"
And then i write really long boring poems...how does He put up with me?

Ahhhhh.....words. An aspect we share with the great I AM. The power to bless or curse, build or destroy, wither or nurture, hate or love. We must always be aware of the ears we may be polluting or hopefully watering, as we send forth our "wisdom". If it is from HIM then we are gonna be ok. Thank you so much for sharing, it is a wonderful piece. And to 'eagles....you are anything but boring. crazy

Actions do speak louder than words, but actions are rather less like an influential poem. Both, wonderful tools which "speak" volumes.

One word, well placed, can inspire. One sentence properly stated can change a life. One changed life can impact a region, and more. For good or bad, our choice, our charge.
