Broken Hearts
Where would we be if the heartbroken refused to share their story?
Do we really think only heart to be broken is our own, are we that naïve?
We’re not the first heart to be broken nor will we be the last
The Bible is full of broken hearts, failures and disappointments
But where would we be without them persevering through the storm?
How would we learn from their successes without seeing the journey?
Where would we be if those that failed stopped trying to overcome?
Do we really think we’re the only ones that failed in dreams or goals?
We’re not the first to fall on our faces or will we be the last
The Bible is full of broken hearts, failures, and disappointments
But where would we be if they refused to share how to overcome?
What if nobody wanted to share through his or her humility?
Where would we be if the disappointed just gave up without trying again?
Do we really think we’re the only ones to be disappointed on life’s turnouts?
We’re not the first nor the last, not getting what we wanted only to be told no
The Bible is full of broken hearts, failures, and disappointments
But where would we be if they refused to share how Jesus came?
When Jesus appeared in the fire or walked on water, or died on a cross
How can writers be inspired to write when there’s no inspiration shared?
Overcoming broken hearts, succeeding after failing a hundred times over
How small would the Bible be if nobody told how Jesus saved him or her?
Stories of broken hearts healing, past failures overcome by success
This is how God chose to write His letter of love because He knew
Hearts would be broken again, showed time and time again
The Bible is full of broken hearts, failures, and disappointments
But it’s also full of love healing hearts, love lifting up the fallen
How big heaven will be with people that overcame life with love
