Hello, Old newbie here!

Hello,

I'm an old new writer.  I wrote a little in high school (30 yrs ago), then two years ago, a couple of stories just popped in my head.  The only way to tell them is to write them myself!  I've written some screenplays that are not really Christian themed, but the main story I'm writing is.  I've written it in screenplay form and was a semi-finalist in the Kairos Prize.  I'm still improving it, but now putting into novel form.  It's proving much harder than I imagined.

I hope to make my stories better by leaning on the experience from the writers here.  I will try to help others as I can, with my limited writing experience.  What I lack in writing experience, I make up in life knowledge!

Jeremiah, you hit the nail on the head! "Listening" is a rarity! I just posted a list of poems and received over a thousand views in less than 24 hours buuuut only one thoughtful reply in poetry and one lovely engaging response in the introductions category pretty sad statement among fellowship of Christians. Seems a real shame such a great venue for sharing and getting "real" with one another in unity not being fully engaged. Terrorists have more unity and brotherhood. I subsequently have deleted all postings. One earnest reply is worth more than countless views.

Seems like "the strong delusion" 2 Thessalonians 2:11 is upon us.
Christ have mercy, Lord have mercy.
Where is the evidence of "Living hearts", the witness, the testimony, The fervor, being "ripped by the PASSION?" "Laodicea is here" as the poet has said in the poetry category on C.C.W.Jesus shared the "good news" and moved on to the next town...he didn't do this even satan knows better, what would be the point?

I wish only the best for you wherever you may find it, keep on seeking after "His Kingdom", "His Righteousness", may we all arrive safely to our pre-ordained destinations. God Bless.

I wish you would repost your writings.  If you find that fellowship is a problem then maybe you are called to fight and make a difference.  I have been with this writing group for about two months now and have had limited response to my writings.  Perhaps we could change the tide at this forum by starting with one small step.  You read and comment on my writings and I will do the same for you.

Been right here, done this before and was very misunderstood. Came back for a visit and perhaps to stir some sleepies to activity, apparently NOT my calling. Wanted to see if anyone cared, anyone would respond, checking for pulses.

Wow!  I checked this a few days after I first put this post up and ... nothing.  Glad to see there are active people out there.  Hope to be more involved in all of the writer's forums that I'm involved with but work keeps getting in the way!!!
