She is there, His Princess

playing in the garden of His love

She skips and laughs

A smile graces her lips

Her eyes are bright with hope

His beauty shines through her

She tends to the husbandry of His delightful creation

The touch of her hands ministers life and healing

The words from her lips emanate from a joyful heart

Touched by the Master’s hand, she is bold and strong

Her eyes are fixed on her Lover, the One and Only

Her path is straight and smooth

She does not turn to the right or to the left

No deception or worldly allure deters her

Her destination is the center of His heart

He is there too, guiding and leading her

For part of the journey, He is carrying her

Her head resting on His bosom as she regains strength

He pours soothing oil on her head and hands

He places her in a refreshing stream of water that lives

She knows with conviction that He will never leave her

So she splashes in the stream and awakens renewed

She’s ready to face the day that He’s made
