Faithful

Faithful

My heart is ever faithful
To the one who loves me so
He is my Lord and Savior
That much I do know
He gives me many blessings
Each hour of the day
They are completely free
I don’t even have to pay
All he desires from me
Is acceptance of his son
And I should know
That is His only one.
God is ever faithful
Always there for me
Never failing in his presence
To my heart he holds the key
He’s never failed me yet
I can’t say the same
I’ve failed him many times
I must accept the blame.
He goes right on loving me
No matter what I do
I don’t know why he does it
I really don’t have a clue.
Isn’t God good?

It is a pretty poem. This is silly, but I dislike writing poems that rhymn, BUT reading them is a joy. I don't have any talent for it.....at least I think so. But praise the Lord we are weak and strong. So others can shine. :)

I agree, this world would be boring if we all had the same talents. I've never felt comfortable writing poetry, so I've never tried it really. But, I sure do love reading it, especially yours Cleo your work seems to be growing by leaps and bounds. I can tell you've been exercising your writing muscles. Keep up the great work! It's a blessing to me and, I'm sure, to many others.

Thank you all so much for your kind words about my writing. Actually, for a long time I wasn't doing much writing of any kind. I figured no one would ever read it or get to enjoy it except myself, so I just quit. Now that I have found your forum, I know that others will get to enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it, so I have found my way again. Thank you so very much.

That's so awesome to hear, thank you. If this site helps only one person I am satisfied, but it seems to be doing much more that. The Lord has truly blessed me.

Isn't it great that HE is always faith even when we are faithless. Yes our God is an awesome God indeed. And this site is blessing many people. All glory to the Father.
