I want to be a bird
Flying in the sky on a summer day
Free to go wherever I wish
Because nothing can stand in my way

I want to be the ocean
Making soothing sounds as I hit the sand
Containing creatures below
That humans have yet to understand

I want to be the forest
Filled with beautiful flowers and trees
To hear the sounds of the birds above
And the buzzing of the honey bees

I want to be an old oak tree
To live past my dying year
To share all my wise tales
To all who wish to hear

There are hundreds of thousands of things
That I could want to be
But always in the end
I want to be me
