| You will always have something to give others
Even if your pockets are bare
You have the most important gift to offer-
The gift of daily prayer.
If your bank account is empty
And has been for quite awhile
Someone may need the lift
And the comfort of your smile.
If your body has grown weary
And your walk has gotten slow
Someone may need your wisdom
In the way that they should go.
Even when your life is nearing
Its end on this earthly shore
There are those who need to hear
Of your hope of life forevermore.
And I hope that when we have made it
That God will allow us from above
To keep on praying
For those whom we dearly love.
