The Poem that gave me my poetry name

"Lost and Found"

TOLD THAT YOUR NOT GOOD ENOUGH, GRADED ON YOUR WRITING, ABOUT A TROUBLED SOUL WITH A FAMILY ALWAYS FIGHTING. YOUR JUST BEING CREATIVE, PUT DOWN FOR WRITING “NATIVE”, BUT REALLY ITS ABOUT YOUR OWN HOME. LOST CREATIVITY, IN A WORLD SO FOCUSED ON REALITY AS IF THERES NOTHING ELSE LEFT. THIS GENERATION IS DYING, CHILDREN ARE CRYING, AS CREATIVITY IS STRIPPED FROM THEIR FINGERTIPS, WORDS STOLEN FROM THEIR VERY LIPS BEFORE THEY REACH THE SURFACE AND CAN BE BROUGHT ABOUT, THIS WORLD IS IN A LYRICAL DROUGHT. THESE WORDS MEANT TO GRAB YOUR ATTENTION AND PULL YOUR EMOTIONS OUT. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE BEFORE IGNORANCE HAS WON AND WE SEE WORDS AS JUST WORDS WITH NO MEANING. FIND YOUR CREATIVITY, DON’T LET THEM PITY THESE WORDS YOU HAVE TO SAY BECAUSE THEY DO HAVE MEANING, MAKE THEM LISTEN TODAY. SHOW THEM YOUR FEELINGS AND CHANGE THE WORLD ONE WORD AT A TIME, SHOW THEM YOUR WORDS ARE NOTHING BUT SUBLIME. I’VE FOUND MY CREATIVITY, NOW IT’S YOUR TURN…

So I know this does not have its topic as God, but I wanted to show the reason that my poetry name is what it is. If you read my introduction for new writers I mentioned that there was a piece I wrote that made me use this name for my poetry, so I just wanted it to be better understood. Thanks =)

It may not have the topic of God but I can see HIS grace in it. "Change the world one Word at a time", I love it. That's how I see the bible, changing lives one Word at a time.

As Christians I think all of our work is Christian writing. We love praise verses and we love to have some good clean fun things to read as well. Sometimes I love to write some silly things just for fun.

I totally love that. It's closely aligned with the mission of this site, that is to help encourage many, many Christian writers to take up their pens, or keyboards, and get to writing. Beautiful work! Nice job.
