I'm known as ishy to most people, short for Michelle. In the secular world, I write as Michelle Clark or Lynn Blackmar. I haven't chosen a pen name for writing as a Christian yet. I'm a little leery of using my real last name for anything.
I'm published as a non-fiction education writer, but I really don't enjoy writing non-fiction. I also self-published a novel about a misfit group of spies called Surfer Girl, which is on Amazon. The second and third books in that series are coming out. I'd like to write a novella series from a Christian point of view that's sort of slice of life contemporary with comedy (think Gilmore Girls, etc). I also write YA and middle grades science fiction, but I haven't published anything in those yet.
My favorite genres to read are sci fi, YA non-dystopian, and some fantasy. I also run a Christian ministry to female geeks, goths, and gamers, as well as a local ministry to geeks, goths, and gamers of both genders. I went to a Christian college, and I attended seminary, and I spent awhile in Japan as a missionary, so my background is a little unusual.
