My fading youth is in your hands

No protection against decay

Invisible the Potter’s hands

On my character of clay

Moulded soft by His warm touch

Of many gone by day

You paint the Mona Lisa mask

Over the early wrinkles

Her mysterious smile resonates

the masterpiece of hidden beauty

Showcased in the realm
of the Potter’s perpetuity
