All this bickering, all this fighting
Who is wrong, who is the right one
What does it matter, we all belong to Him
Postured on position, seems awfully close to sin
The day of my salvation, where I was i could tell
But the only thing that really mattered
Was, I was no longer bound for hell
The Glory is His clothing, I just wear a robe
To one day be changed into rainment
Pure righteousness on streets of gold
This mess we have while down here
Proves my armour for the day
I must keep in tip top shape
To keep me along the way
And if another's starts to get rusty
It is nothing more than my due
To help get it back where it needs to be
And hoping they feel the same way too
We pull the oars on this boat together
Blisters and wounds to endure
Until we find ourselves in His presence
All clean, whole, and pure.
