| My Lord left a light in the window of hope, but I turned around to look the opposite way and ended up swinging from the end of a rope, praying for another sunny day...
A world without light is a very lonely place and it's a long way down when you fall from grace Haunted are these memories that I can't erase and the me I used to be is now gone without a trace
A distant memory lies behind my sight of the light on my left that I left to take a right but there was really nothing right that I could write or recite about being caught up in the darkness of night
Alone in the world, befriended by the enemy and turned further from the light so I could no longer see The once innocent me I could no longer be and I'm writing this to you so you don't become me
When you're lost in the dark, there is nowhere left to hide and I listened as though true as the wicked tongue lied The world...the world...the world is why I died and if you think my head is scarred, you should see the inside
If you think my body's scarred, take a look at my heart bleeding, crying, dying...slowly ripped apart by a liar so clever, a fallen angel so smart that he became the puppeteer while I played the lost-puppet part
Strung out, strung along, I became a demon on his strings and destruction, pain and sadness is the song the demon sings but within this demon and the hurt he brings there's an angel slowly rising ready to spread his wings
Though I've turned from the darkness, I'm not safe yet for the devil himself bet I'd fall to my regret but he will never collect, though he pretends to forget Jesus Christ already died to pay my debt... |

| Everyone needs to read your work. I feel guilty for being only one of a few who get to read it. |

| Miss Lora! Hey, I feel blessed that anybody gets to read it. No doubt. How tragically sad it would have been had I died a prisoner, whether physically or mentally, and never have been able to be a witness to, much less share, God's true forgiveness, love and grace. At this moment in my life, God has me spreading his love through the internet with amazing people such as yourself. Today, a window of hope. Tomorrow, perhaps a window of opportunity. Much love, Miss Lora. |
