Everyone wants to change the world until they realize change is a verb
We've been called "the Lord's generation" But these words are the declaration of a nation with too much patience and not enough action Its like subtracting carrying your cross from Christ's Death, Burial, and resurrection transaction
Entitlement entitles us to think we're born for revival our spirit yearns to act while our hands remain idle Revival isn't entitled to a particular title or generation But it's more like the Holy Spirit's wedding invitation
He wants to be with us He wants to draw so close But we don't usher in revival And stand around to boast "I AM THE LORDS GENERATION!"
You see We've been building up our defenses instead of getting in the trenches! we sit in our pews and listen like there's something missing but through Christ's Great Commission we have a mission to go forth and witness so that the deaf would hear and the blind receive vision
If we can move mountains with faith the size of a mustard seed Then surely we have enough Faith to pick up our feet
Now don't get me wrong I love all of the churches But we have to be careful when we define what church is We're not a place we're a People And when we gather were not doing it to hide But coming together to worship Christ as His Bride
The Trinity should be an example of the Unity achieved in The Body
We can't come from a church who's building itself up by splitting apart If Christ is the head then let every denomination be a body part Arthritis of the Church's joints be healed In Jesus name stand up and walk! (Run?)
Break our hearts for you Father! break our hearts!
I want revival I want great awakening part 5 So Jesus I'm sending back your invitation with an RSVP! I'm ready Holy Spirit usher in revival through me!
