I have not written a book for a few years however, Amazon has a very good program and it is free to publish. They even have a free book that you can use to make sure you are doing it right. I published my books there a few years back and The Lord's Prayer seems to have begun to sell in the last year. You must do your own proof reading or get someone to do it for you and making the cover can either be done by you or someone else. The books I publish are all ebooks for the Kindle. There are also a few other website that will publish for you. I believe Lulu.com is one of them. I think they are the one that sends your book to several different outlets. Hope this helps someone get started. Ken

Thanks, Ken, for the info. A friend of mine did my book for me. Even though I have two sons in the computer/web business, their mom is quite gun-shy when it comes to stretching out to do an ebook myself. I have a short book ready to go that I would like to do as ebook. I just might get brave enough to give it a go.

It is amazing how easy it is to publish now with the tools available.

I had no idea that you could publish with Amazon! I used Westbow self-publishing to get my first book out there. But you were saying that Amazon does it for free? Where would I go exactly to look into that opportunity?
