The Crossing 

Paths are set for us to take 
the choice made - our stone set fate
in shadow and mist, a hopeless wait 
two paths - one choice to make. 

Darkness dwells on one in hate
burning shadow incarnate 
walls and webs, accuser's bait
one star, one path would abate

A Light is He that could create
a path that only He could make
a time that only He would wait
a Life that only He could take. 

The path is walked, the soul alone
the spirit freed to worlds unknown
'less the Three, would become One
in one that's three, as He has won. 
In one that's free, that He has won. 

In one that's free
as all are, but one. 

As the narrow path is taken
the Life to life is given
no shade remains
His bride has been saved.
