A song of joy or a song of sorrow
I choose to write the song that will reflect my tomorrow
No more sad songs of yesteryear
No longer will I scream just to cover up a tear
I made bad choices and bad choices made me
until I chose to hear the voice that was setting me free
Free to be strong, and free to truly belong
and free to be forever at the end of this song
I'm alive and I strive for an end to inner-strife
I was born into death...but I will die into life
