| THE RAINBOW By Jan Phillips As I stood there looking at the rainbow up above I thought it was a symbol of his great and wondrous love. The more I stood and watched and marveled at the sight It began to get very, very, bright. My heart was filled with love, laughter and joy, I was just like a kid with a brand new toy. The Lord began smiling and laughing too And then instead of one rainbow there were two. I really enjoyed the time we both shared I didn’t know how very much he cared. In my heart of hearts I now know He was giving me my own private show. It was such a beautiful sight that day Nothing else could have made me laugh that way. I can’t say enough about that beautiful sight, Or about how much I loved the Lord that night. I know the Lord was there to share his love with me And he wrote it across the sky for all the world to see.

| Rainbows are such a wonderful display of G-d's love for us, and His promise. I never cease to have my breath taken away when I see one...like you siad, "A kid with a brand new toy." Love your poem. Would like to see more.
