My outside is getting wrinkled
And little age spots are growing bolder
I have indentations from my purse
That decorate my shoulder.
I have gained a bit of weight
Where one I was lean and svelte
And by the end of the day
My cankles are all swelt...
Even though my get up and go
Seems to have gotten up and gone
I keep on going on
For in my heart is a song.
I cannot stop my age from showing
On the outside of my skin
But I can try to keep my spirit in tune with God
And be beautiful within.
