WE STAND ALONE
Within this world we stand alone
Until the day we kneel and atone
Being tempted every hour, each minute
Some days we think we can’t win it
Satan our evil, slithering foe stands tall
In hopes we will stumble and even fall
Our hearts seek our King of Kings above
We become firm in our faith and His love
Our souls are refreshed, made strong
Against the evil tide and all the wrong
We stand in our armor against the tide
Knowing Christ Jesus is on our side

i drive a truck and i am constantly in and out of the ports moving freight back and forth in and out of there. everytime i go through security the customs and border patrol agents are required to check credentials and ask the obligatory question: "are you alone?"
i always point up to the sky and give them a look that speaks of "what a ridiculous question" and softly affirm: "i am never alone"
they rarely ask anymore.

Come on out of that critiques corner Len, you don't need validation or approval...whatever you post your heart always shines through and that is what matters most.

Now here is my critique...have confidence in your writing and let it reflect the confidence and trust you know beyond any doubt, you have in the Lord.
