| A love so true that it forgives the treacherous life a dead man lives...
I can't remember, but I wanna remember A fleeting memory, and it burns like an ember The first time, the last time, the next time I cry Will you hold me in your arms until my tears run dry I let you go and I've left your side and the memory of your hurt hurts deep inside Why did I do the things I did, why do I do the things I do Why do you always wait for me, why is your love for me so true It pains me to know that I cause you pain but it calms me to know you're my shelter in the rain
I can't forget, but I wanna forget the feelings that I felt in the sea of regret I can't undo what's already been done and I can't live life livin' on the run Runnin' from the wrongs without makin' things right and chasin' all the shadows in the middle of the night I have to come correct or not come at all and trust you'll catch me should I fall and know you'll be there when I land to hold my hand, to help me stand |
