God bless those who never knew
The touch of a loving mother
And were never snuggled near her breast
Never loved and nurtured by
A mom who loved them best.

Missing You on Mother's Day

We can no longer get together
Or even chat on the telephone
For It’s been a lot of years
Since God called you home.
How lovely it would be
To share tender words and a kiss
Sit and chat for hours and hours
And do all of those things I miss
But now I just Thank God for you
And that I had you for awhile
And each time I think of you, My Sweet Mother
Those thoughts always make me smile.
I asked God to tell you today
That I love you so very much
And that my life each day
Still feels your gentle touch.

It has been a lot of years and I still miss my parents.

They both made me misty. You should write a book. Oh, that's right, you already did. Your work is so awesome! I feel blessed to be able to read it each day.

I had so many mom and dad and grandparents poems that I had to create a book for each one. :-)
