Lord, find me a task, great or small-
Something I can do for you.
I will go where You want me to go,
Do what You want me to do.

I would travel to darkest continents
Pitch my tent there in the dirt
Until I had ministered to Your people
And comforted those who hurt.

I would ride out on a camel
To the desert dry and dreary
To tell the world of You
Though I might be tired and weary.

I would gladly die for Jesus
I would give my life for You
So find for me, Dear Father
A task that I may do.

I will do what You need me to do
Heal the sick, the lame,the blind--

But….Lord teaching kids in Sunday school
Was not what I had in mind…

Until I reached the end, I was all misty until the last stanza, then you made me laugh. Very cute. Love it!

I guess I must be the only one who understands and feels the same way. Lord love you Miss Thena. You always write just the way I feel. I think we are much alike in some ways.
