Our neighbor came up with his new rifle and was bragging to my brother and me about what a great shot he was. We had a big walnut tree near the barn lot and it was full of walnuts. I took the rifle from him (and I had never shot before) took aim and knocked a walnut off that tree.
"Not bad for a girl" the neighbor said and took his leave. My brother looked on in amazement and to him only, I confessed that that wasn't the walnut that I was aiming for...
This is what God can do with our lives. Sometimes we get off track and aim for the wrong things but He can turn us around and get us aimed in the right direction. We may have sinned and missed the mark many times but when we set our sights on His Kingdom He will be there for us.
