My Lighthouse
The seas are raging
White with foam.
Protect me Lord,
I’m far from home.
Don’t let me crash
Upon the rocky shore
Help me safely
My ship to moor.
From your lighthouse
Jesus, shine your light
To guide my ship
In the path that’s right.
Keep me safe.
Guide my soul
‘Don’t let me crash
Against the shoal.
Jesus is my lighthouse keeper
My Savior, my friend
Whose light shone so brightly
Upon the darkness of my sin.
He exposed there by beams so bright
Things that could not stand the light.
He showed me then that they must leave
Those things that caused my Lord to grieve.
Lord keep me safe
In Your arms forever more.
Guide my ship/my life
From shore to shore.
Help me to live
My life in such a way
That I would guide to safety
A soul that might stray.
Upon the lost, dear Lord,
Let me shine your light,
To save those souls
From darkest night.
