A gentle breeze came by today Bumped by a jog in the day A small sparrow was soon on his path And realized, permafrost
He started to thaw, mission central- When he found his direction uneasy Weaving and bobbing became a way of flight
Clutched by his breath as though- He was tied up The highest tree, Snared by his own memories
Escaping to roost he laid his thoughts And found himself- Broken sparrow

That gave me shivers down my spine. I love your style too. It allows the reader to apply to his or herself in the way she or he sees it.
