Year 2011

In the year 2011 a lot of things fell through
Many of the things I planned to do
But that’s okay because I know I will get another chance
I have a brand new year to take another stance

Many of God’s plans were carried on just as He had planned
Things I didn’t know about that He knew firsthand
I don’t always know just what He has in store
When He is ready He will let me know more

I have given Him my life to do with as He will
Sometimes though I try to do it my way still
The year 2011 has been hard in many ways
But we made it through and He deserves the praise.

This past year I have made some wonderful new friends
I have never met them in person yet on them I still depend.
We exchange ideas on the internet and talk some too
They have given me new life and my soul they did renew.

I owe it all to God and the plans He didn’t share
He knew what I needed all the time and He put them there
He gave me a church where I go every week
He gives me the opportunity to obtain what I seek.

So don’t think the year 2011 was all that bad
It gave me some things I have never had
I owe it all to God and His unrevealed plans
All I have to remember is to leave it in His hands.

I feel blessed to have met you too Miss Cleo. Big hugs . I think this is one of my favorites, not counting the nonfiction you write (gotta love that). Your style is becoming more and more refined. You go girl.

don't ever sell yourself short, i can't tell you how many times i've read 'rotten potatoes' !!

Which brings up a good point. I had a real gnat problem. Couldn't get rid of the little buggers and they were driving me crazy. I finally found out what the problem was. There were a couple of rotten potatos that had been overlooked for quite some time where I had put them to keep them out of the way. They have now been removed and so were the gnats. Those rotten potatos have a way of creeping back in to my life sometimes.

i often forget where the potatos are, you'd think they'd be in the same place all time. i think they wait till we go to sleep and they move around.
