What I Look Like Today

This is What I Look Like Today

I see the photo on my FB page-
An avatar is what they say-
And I wonder if it could be called a lie
If my friends were to stop by.
Time is taking its daily toll
And I seem to have lost all control
Over the wrinkles and puffiness
That strive to make my face a mess!
A couple of weeks of croup like cough
More wrath on my face have wrought.
More damage to my frame have I laid waste
By caving to a fast food taste
And would It be held amiss for telling not
My daily desire for soda pop!
But here I am feeling in quite good sorts
Although long ago I gave up sports.
I only wonder what harm it would do
To use an avatar from …say 1972?
