The Answer

The Answer

We went to the doctor
And heard his diagnosis
As we listened intently
To the clinical prognosis.
Then we went home together
And prayed with all our might
And God sent us a cure
That very night.
We went back to the doctor
And the x-rays revealed
That truly and miraculously
Our God had healed.
The doctor exclaimed
“I can’t believe it!”
And I must seemed shocked too
For our little daughter smiled and asked
“But isn’t that what we asked God to do?”

The faith of a child is amazing. My friend was hospitalized a little over a year ago and it , looked pretty bleak. The prayer chain went into action and the next day his doctor was amazed, he could find nothing wrong and said as much and declared he had no idea what happened. My friend just smiled at him and said, " I do". Praise be HIM who is infinite in grace and mercy. Prayer works.
