Come on Winter
We've suffered enough of your cold and snow
Time and again
Times when we've frozen just about
Or a mild spell accompanying a lovely freezing rain
I'm tired of nearly fallin on my rump
And blinded by fogged lenses supreme
Just want to imagfine sweaters and shoes and flowers
Am I allowed to dream ?!
I am into Lent
And look foward to some chocolate bunny
But if you dare to linger onwards just a tad more
I won't be laughing
As it won't be funny
Give me sunshine and slight breezes
Warm rain
The smell of new in the air
The outdoor allergies commences
Drives me insane
To welcome the sound of God's creatures a coming
Chirps and the like
Will embrace them
Nature's symphony humming
