Upon Your Word

Take away from within me all that is not of You
Enlighten my mind to the clarity of Your Truth
Open my eyes to what You want in me to change
Search deep in my heart; my priorities rearrange
Do as You will with my life; for I am not my own
I exist to serve You; I love and worship You alone
Though I cannot see You; I know that You are real
My faith rests upon Your Word; not upon what I feel
Keep my path straight, immovable; steadfast and true
Be a reflection of Your righteousness in everything I do

I just love your heart. Your love of the Lord shines through your poetry.
