I look to the North, You give me worth
Nothing I do, just Your handiwork.
I give You my praise, in all that I try
In desire to see You, some by and by.
I look to the East, as the dawn begins to break,
In hope that it's you Jesus, that me you will takeover
Away from this trial, You promice that You will
I await for your return, and while I am here still
I look to the West, there I try to see
How far You threw my sin, to not return to me
How massive is Your love, to pay the price, the cost
So not a whosoever, would ever have to be lost
Then I look to the south, and contemplate what's there
Tho tempting in it's beauty, empty, no one to care
The enemy is underfoot, by the power of the blood
Enough, whenever I need it, overwhelmed , like a flood
Four directions in which to look, four ways in which to see
All of them important, all of them I need
Swept along by His grace, kept strong by His hand
I look for that day, and a new glorious land.
