Word of God spoke with ripples of creation
words of mine spoke with endless devastation

Word of God spoke, our world filled the void
words of mine spoke and my world destroyed

HIS Word uplifts, sets free, reveals, rejoices
my words tear down, enslave, conceal, steal choices

HIS Word perfection, protection, sword and shield
my words rejection, objection, sinful nature revealed

HIS grace abounds, surrounds, whispers forgiveness
I was unfound, ego drowned, hell bound, wouldn't listen

HIS path is narrow, my mind was as well
didn't give much thought where my soul would dwell

HE persisted, I resisted, HE persisted, I twisted
HE assisted, me tight fisted, I remained unlisted

Word of God spoke, "Quiet yer mind, be still,"
"you've caused carnage, your broken, but MY Word will heal

Like rhema, Word leapt, filled my heart to bursting
in humility, larynx thirsting, my words needed nursing

Thinking first, speaking softly, as I breath in the Word
cellular transformation, brain reboot, my life I reWord

Jesus the Christ, Word manifest, blessed Savior, Redeemer
wrote HIS Word on my heart, my tongue a boundless streamer

Word changes, I'm changed, Word heals, I'm whole
Word evangelized, I'm evangelical, a fisher of souls

I seed, HE saves, HIS Word thru the Spirit
I praise, unashamed, Word evident in those who would hear it

The lesson, an aspect, a sliver of the I AM
our words too, have power to nurture the herd or slay the lamb

Sticks and stones, hurled, bring blood and break bones but your words can be worse
after all, just a few words hissed brought about man's curse

Word sings, word spirals, bring fear, or leave you awed
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God

Yeppers, been real busy planning a wedding and honeymoon, but this one has been tickling my brain.

Boy, when you get your brain tickled, you sure do roar! Another very powerful, moving piece! It made my heart thump double-time. You are so gifted with Words.

Thank you. It was pivotal when I realized that the Word was God and that all HE did was speak and boom we banged big so to speak. We are in HIS image so it stood to reason my words were so much more than I ever thought. In fact it changed every thing for me.
