I had it all, everything my heart should desire
But I looked at the world, and it ignited a fire
Of unrelenting lust and wants, I couldn't find my fill
I began the long journey back,
Back to calvery's hill
Walking, running, sometimes a crawl
I find a scrap of paper, and these words I begin to scrawl
With a trembling heart that shook my pen
" I'm sorry Lord, can You love me again?"
The door stood open, the pasture, green
It all was there, is it a dream?
His love is real, and always will last
Just come to His pasture, don't worry about your past.
It's all behind, because of that hill
That Jesus walked up, to show love is real.
