I wasn't able to find the first interview, but I got to hear your interview for the "Military Moments" anthology. Your kindness and graciousness shines through. And what a sweet voice you have, Miss Thena. I pray the Lord blesses many military families through your work.

Come on over Miss Lora and you too Miss Thena! The rain is falling lightly from a beautiful gray cloudy sky that is a gorgeous backdrop to the leaves that are changing to gold, orange and reds amongst the evergreens. I can see my breath in the air as I step out on the front porch reminding me that there is talk of our first snowfall coming soon! Apple and pumpkin pies are made, turkey is in the oven and just taking a rest before I set the table for friends to join us this evening. So thankful for the abundance from the garden put up in glass jars waiting for their turn to make it to the table. I've learned from the ant to work for our food in the summer, so that we will be prepared when the winter storms hit. Sounds like there will be much opportunity to help the neighbors shovel snow, and they always help in return. The Christmas lights will be up soon downtown and the town takes on the feel of a Norman Rockwell painting. Times are tough all over, but we can still be very content and thankful for what we do have....family and friends, and most of all Jesus!

Oh, my, now I feel left out. I never tried the paste. I've really got to get a few of your books. My youngest is just starting to like to read.
