Now I know that rap is not the most popular music for christians but I still want to put this out there for anyone who may need something new or know someone who does. First let me say that up until last year, even as a christian I listened to hardcore gangsta rap. this is very violent and sinful music if you aren't aware. I had a very hard time giving it up. That is until I met the artists Flame and Lecrae. These young men are true christian soldiers and preach only the gospel and how it has changed there lives. It has the hardcore feel of the other rap yet manages to be uplifting and bold. Also my knowledge of the word has grown with listening to them. All the things they say, I look up in my bible. There are a few others who are very talented as well, but Lecrae is a true saint in a body of christ that is lacking for some time.
