In Honor of a Cousin I lost Yesterday

There are some friends and family
Who come into our lives
Making it instantly better.
They may have never actually said the words
I love you
But it is written and spoken in every action
In every move they make,
In every smile and wink
In every moment of their life.
It is felt in their generosity, their sense of community
And their compassion for their friends, neighbors and
Yes for their fellow Americans.
They have a way of bringing family and neighbors
Closer together and spread joy and happiness
To all those privileged to know them.
Donald Bergstrom was such a man.


My cousin's husband left us yesterday.
God called him home and he will be missed
