Rest Your Head Dear Child (and a number of short verses)

Rest your head dear child
And leave your cares with God above you
For He can bring you peace and comfort
As He shows you daily that He loves you.
He didn't promise that we would have no problems
Or that no pain would ever cross our brow
But that He will be with those who love Him
And He's with you even now.

God's timing
Always perfect
Never late
Always current
Never out of date
I love, honor and appreciate
God's timing!

Our lives should be a prayer
Asking God to keep us in His care
Through everything we do each day
And that we bless others sent our way.

When your heart is full of joy
Share that joy with others
Reach out in love
To your sisters and your brothers.
When your heart is sad
Others will reach out to you
And lift you up again
And with God's love bless you.

In times of deepest trouble and distress
Do not panic and do not fear
If you whisper His name in prayer
Jesus, or Savior, will hear.
Just the faintest whisper of a prayer
Will receive His answer
And you will find He is there
To reach out to you
To touch, bless and heal
For He loved you so much He died for you
And He loves you still.

You just gave me an idea for a new book....Paper Back Praise with little blurbs of praise...How does that sound? I just created it and added these.

Lord I pray for those who have no shoes
And those who have no feet to wear them
For those who long to feel our hugs
But have no arms to share them.
I pray for those who have no home
And remain out in the open
For those who have no ears to hear
When loving words are spoken.
I pray for those who have no food
For nourishment to sustain them
For those who fight against evil men
Who seek to harm them and restrain them.
I pray for those who know you not
To seek You as wise men do still
That they would want to come to you
And desire to do Your will.
I ask Your protection Lord
From those who seek to do our country ill.
And thank You for the love You’ve shown us
And that you love us still.
