Be a Blessing (and other short subjects of praise)

You don't need a lot of money
To be a blessing to someone each day
You don't have to have great resources
To create or give away.
You can bless someone who is hurting
By smiling as they pass by
You can show a bit of friendship
By looking a lonely person in the eye.
Just tune your heart to Jesus,
And let Him guide you every day
And He will show you want is needed
As He sends those you can bless your way.

Bless Someone Today

I was able to bless a friend one day
With some funds I had just earned
It blessed my heart so tremendously
I sent up to God a Heavenly plea
And the gist of that prayer
Was that I always have enough to share.
And just the same as if He had spoken
I knew that even when finances are broken
There will always be a way
To share something with someone every day.
At different stages in our lives we find
We may have more money or perhaps more time
But something we will have to give
As long as we are blessed to live.

So today is your birthday
And your family or friends forgot...
You think you are all alone
But truly, you are not!
There's your Father up in Heaven,
To whom this date is known
Who loves you and watches over you
Each day from His Heavenly Throne.
So put a smile on your face
And forgive those who are forgetful
As you celebrate your special day
And may it be sweetly eventful!

I woke up praising you, Lord
Woke up with You in my heart
And on my mind
I love thinking of You, Father
For You love me all the time!

Let my praise flow up to Heaven,
And join the angels as they sing
Let my praise be worthy
To praise the Lord of Everything!
Let it rise up to Glory
And add a sweetness to the air
That will last now and forever
Until I join you there!

We may weep and be weary now
But the day of triumph shall come
With jubilation and rejoicing
When we join with the Son!
There will be celebration and elation
And glory all around
When we see King Jesus
And we receive our crown.
Stay close beside the Savior
And let no one lead you astray
In order to receive the crown of life
That none can take away.

No matter what the world may say
Or what politicians may proclaim
My life, my country, the world belongs to God
And I will forever praise His Name!
