His name is Jesus...

It so obvious super hero movies are all the
rage. From Batman to Spider-man, Superman to Wolverine,
Iron Man to The X-men, it
seems there's a huge interest about having
super powers and using them to
"fight evil".

This struck my thoughts more than a few
times. There's more than a little bit of
interest in everyday people to have
incredible powers, and esepcially to use
those powers for the good of others.

Of course, the ultimate hero would be
Jesus.

Why is Jesus the ultimate super hero?

Well... uh, he could flatten any one of
them - heck, all of them at the same time
- without giving it a second thought.

Of course this is incredible, but the real
reason Jesus is the ultimate hero is not
just because of his super powers, but
because of two important characteristics:
his righteous and his love for you.

Many of us would love the thought of
personally knowing someone like Batman,
and being able to fight crime alongside
him, solve mysteries, and defend the
helpless. But the ulitmate would be to be
alongside Jesus, knowing not only is he
unmatched in power and majesty, but also
he's motivated by the purest of love,
powered by the purest of discernment and
judgment.

There's no fooling him, there's no
defeating him. He stands alone.

I don't know about you, but I would trade
Batman for Jesus any day of the week!
