If You Remember Me

When I've gone from earth
You don't have to remember me
But I pray the message of God's love
That I sought to share with you each day
In your heart, soul and spirit
Would forever stay.
You don't have to remember the anniversary
Of the day I left here to go home
To my Father who dwells above
But I pray that every day
You celebrate His Grace and love
By sharing that love with others
Who need to know how much God cares
And that you lift others up to the Father
In your daily prayers.
But if you should remember me
Know that I loved you and love you still
And my heart's desire upon this earth
Was to do my Father's will.
