Growing as a child of God needs improvement

There are many things included in everyone's life. Life is a combination of goodness and weakness, of benefits and losses, of happiness and sorrow, of success and failure - and on goes the list. But living becomes complete only when we commit all these things into the hands of God. God brings out the best from the worst for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. The negative points in life are indeed not to be ignored but to be replaced with the positive. Many people ignore their weaknesses and do not do anything about them. So they have them always. If once they fail to pray, they will continue in that habit. But God wants that we not only nourish our good points but improve in necessary areas. What is the beginning of improvement? It is realization of the need for getting improved. If we do not realize that we need to improve in certain areas and that some points in life need to be given away, we become unable for success. Relaxing after saying that all are imperfect and ignoring to improve is a fool's statement. God has given us the grace and ability to improve, to become better, but how easily do we hide our negative points and have no regret in carrying them. This style shuts all doors that can help us live life. It removes our passion to become better humans, deletes all the dreams we once dreamed, brings us close to failure, makes us lazy, and all these lead us to the opposite meaning of life.

Now, what to do with the good points in life? But before that, do we really know what all things can be termed 'good'? Problems in the life of a child of God are helpful in making him a better Christian. The seen great things in the life of an unbeliever are able to make him trust more in himself and increase his disbelief in God. If problems come, we can take them to the Lord and thus learn to trust Him more. Now, to put it easily, all things through which God's name can be glorified, are all good things. God's strength is made whole in weakness. He refines us as gold to give us the shine we can gain. It is not because we go through problems that we are able to shine, but because God walks with us in those problems and leads us to betterment. Problems are a part of progress.

We should be thankful to God for all our abilities, good habits and talents. We must utilize our potentials and resources to bring glory to His name. If we use them for self-success, we are a total failure. Day by day, realizing how to handle the plus and minus points of life can make us live successfully. It is a life-long process. We all should have have an earnestness in life-development. The more we develop, the more we live for the glory of God. Do not ignore any of these things in any way. Improve where you need to, utilize your good points, God will help you.
