Empty Plate

In this world so filled with hate,
There is never enough food
To fill my empty plate.
My body is oh so weary
Of the fight I cannot win
Against the hunger pains
That come and come again.
Oh help me! Help me!
Each night I cry.
Wont you please help me
Before I die.
I have no job,
So there is no pay,
How in the world
Did I get this way?
Give me a job,
That’s my plea.
Help me break this
Cycle of poverty.

That hit me at the core. So many of us have been looking for
jobs that don't seem to exist and feel lost and hopeless. I pray the Lord
directs us to that one job that is out there for each of us.

I know so many are praying this same prayer and God hears each one. He doesn't have one answer fits all though and sometimes it may seem as if He hasn't heard but He has. Sometimes the right job for us is one we wouldn't have even known to look for.


Agreeing with you in prayer.

It just seemed to come to me out of nowhere. So many are hungry today and I pray God takes care of them. Thank you for caring.
