OK.....here it is.....a few changes have been made. Sorry it took so long to repost it!



These strong, still walls
If they could only talk...
What would they say?
That two best friends spent most
of their growing up years here?
These blessed walls...
Would they give descriptions
of the many stories shared?
Of the jokes told?
Of the childish years of laughter?
Would there be tales of the pillow
fights and wrestling matches?
Of the the sleepless nights spent giggling?
Or perhaps the crafts that consumed endless
hours of effort?
What of the pranks played?
The explorations?
The multitudes of fun activities?
Or perhaps the countless conversations of God?
Life?
Dreams and plans?
First love?
Or the forging of a bond deeper than friendship?
That of sisters in heart?
What of the 'troubles' of teenage years?
Would there be testimonies of the good memories?
Or would there be talk only of the sorrows 
and heartaches?
The discussions of the painful loss of loved ones?
These silent walls heard so much...

If there is anything left to talk about of any merit...

What story would they tell?
