| Sometimes in life you meet an angel
You often don’t recognize them
Even though they are really a gem
Because you can’t see their wings.
They look like a regular person
Dressing in regular clothes
And driving regular autos
They have no wings to use.
You can hear the beating of the wings
If you listen very, very close
That is something only God bestows
But you cannot see the wings.
The halo is also missing
It is not within your view
It makes you wonder anew
Why is the halo missing?
The reason you cannot see
The wings or the halo
They have not received the death blow
They are still alive you see.
They are real people
They are just in disguise
Isn’t God most wise?
He wants you to figure it out yourself.
What you see is not always what you get
Sometimes you get surprised
As God has devised
You get a real live person
Who is an angel in disguise. |
