Did Biblical Creation Take Thousands of Years?

I say there is much scientific theory that supports a very old universe but it is all just reverse physics and math to come up with numbers. There is also scientific evidence that supports an earth that's only 4500 years old or so which mathematically follows the lineage in the bible, which could be the reason for the inclusion of such tedious number counting in an otherwise amazing journey that is the Word of God. Keep in mind that God lives outside of our time and space and is not subject to our laws of physics. God could do it either way HE chooses. Also God told us what HE wants us to know, doesn't necessarily mean it's the whole story, just means it's what HE chose to share. It's really not worth focusing on although fun to discuss with the right mindset. The universe is set up for us to explore down to the molecular level, we are uniquely suited to view many facets space and the sub atomic realm. HE gave us this curiosity to delve into science so that we could marvel at HIS wondrous creation and stand in awe at HIS glory. I choose to believe in a literal translation of seven days, but I don't think it matters one wit. Or maybe it's just me......
