First child of my body and heart

And a wonderful reunion that will be!

To hold a baby of their own

* I usually get asked for poems from the adoptive parents celebrating their new baby but for each I know there is a hurting heart out there....

This is absolutely beautiful and thoughtful, very close to home in another life I lived with someone I loved very much and didn't know how to really love her at the time but as much as I was able to, which wasn't, couldn't be...enough, for sure!

This one made me misty. The pain from abortion is much more damaging than knowing you gave your baby to a loving home. There are many childless parents out there that could have a child if there weren't so many abortions.
