Eyes

Bright and early tomorrow
Before the sun comes up
I will have to leave the house
And my sleepy pup
To get my left eye fixed
In order for me to see more clearly
And once that is done
I will treasure good sight dearly.
I would appreciate the prayers
Of you folks here on this special site
And knowing that I have them
Will help me to sleep sweetly tonight.

Home from eye surgery. Got the big plastic patch over my eye today.

how long till it comes off miss thena?

I see the dr tomorrow afternoon and then have to just patch it up at night or for naps.

I fell asleep after I wrote this and just woke. LOL

The things we miss when we get busy with other pressing things. I'm sorry I missed this one. I do hope all is going well for you Miss Thena. I'm praying for a quick recovery for you.

Can't put on my industrial strength makeup so I hope I don't frighten small children...lol

Told DD that I wasn't asleep for this surgery (like I was for the right eye) and that next time I want to be asleep.

"Mom, how many eyes do you have?" she asked.

"Oh, I guess I was thinking of the eyes Moms have in the back of their head?"

When my sweet mother told us she had eyes in the back of her head, we actually believed her. We even searched through her hair for them. Those are some sweet memories. My kids never believed me when I told them I had eyes in the back of my head. Oh, the cynicism of today's youth.

I do hope you are doing well my sister. I had my grandchildren not only did I have eyes in the back of my head, but could see though walls and other things. Those were the days. However, with age comes inner sight so its not bad trading one for the other. Love you and pray for you guys often.
